Celebrating 20 Years of Active Schools
Celebrating 20 Years of Fife Active Schools: A Night of Success and Future Promise
Kirkcaldy and Central Fife Sports Council was honoured to join Fife Active Schools in celebrating their 20th anniversary at a lively and memorable Ceilidh event. Our Chairman, George MacDonald, and Secretary, Jennifer Noble, were delighted to participate in this significant milestone.
The event provided a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the remarkable achievements of Fife Active Schools over the past two decades. It was inspiring to hear about the numerous success stories and the positive impact the project has had on young people throughout the region.
Equally exciting were the presentations outlining the future plans for the service. KCFSC was particularly impressed by the integral role that young people are playing in shaping the future of Fife Active Schools. Their involvement underscores the project’s commitment to empowering the next generation and ensuring its continued success.
Of course, no Ceilidh is complete without a lively dance floor, and the evening delivered on that front! Participants, including our representatives, enjoyed the excellent music provided by the resident Ceilidh Band, with much merriment and laughter as everyone attempted to keep up with the traditional steps.
The 20th-anniversary celebration was a testament to the dedication and hard work of everyone involved in Fife Active Schools. KCFSC congratulates them on this significant achievement and looks forward to continued collaboration in promoting sport and active lifestyles for young people in Fife.
